Wedding Invitation for Anjal & Deepika

This invitation was designed for my brother's wedding. I wanted the invite for each ceremony to have a different form, which led to this idea. The initial inspiration for the card was a Rangoli or a Mandala. The cards are made of 2 mm MDF board, laser cut. They have magnets at their centres, which hold the set together. The card-set was designed to work in multiple combinations of inserts, as not all invitations had all the inserts. Two boxes were designed, one with and one without the biscuit, to be sent by courier. I attempted to work with a baker to design the biscuit, but unfortunately that could not be detailed further. I enjoyed working with the printing press, trying out processes & materials and working out the minimum cost of production. Nearly 280 copies were printed.
